| The Hydra-Spread manure spreader
is designed and manufactured by N.E. Hagedorn & Sons at Paisley,
Ontario. The Hagedorn Company was established at Paisley in 1928 and
has been dedicated exclusively to serving and supporting the farm
community.
In 1988 the Hagedorn manure spreader was built for the first time.
Today, Hydra-Spread is undisputedly the North American (and possibly
the world) leader in hydraulic push-off manure spreaders. We are
still totally focused on building the best hydrapush manure spreaders
on the market. Hydra-Spread is in service across Canada and United
States as well as in Britain and Japan. All Hydra-Spread models
start out with an all welded unit frame for maximum strength and
proper alignment of all working components.
Durable Manure Spreader Box
The floor and sides are tongue and groove planks of high-density
polyethylene. This material is formulated exclusively for Hydra-Spread
with the strength and flexibility to withstand the rigorous demands
of manure hauling in all kinds of weather.
Simple Reliable Hydraulic Push-off System
Hydra-Spread unloads with a simple, reliable, single stage push
off system (no sliding floors or other complicated mechanisms here).
The push gate runs on plastic bearings on a single heavy steel rail
for smooth trouble free unloading. Unloading speed is infinitely
variable from zero to eight (or more) feet per minute by means of
a specially designed yet simple control valve.
Our new beater design - after years of development - features
finer, wider, and more uniform spreading than ever before. Paddles
are aggressively shaped - cut from 1/2" and 3/8" high
strength and wear resistant steels. Hydra-Spread 's high operating
speed can tear through the toughest pen pack.
Rugged Power Train
Hydra-Spread features a rugged power train with a heavy gearbox
(borrowed from the snowblower industry) and an oversized PTO shaft.
All shafts are high strength steel and every shaft connection is
splined. Every Hydra-Spread is driven with a double - sixty roller
chain. Bearings are triple sealed, lifetime lubricated, and feature
ductile iron housings.
This is one of the safest machines in the industry. The drive train
is safety contained within the frame - safe from external damage
and virtually eliminating and entanglement hazard.
Proper axle placement gives Hydra-Spread the best and safest balance
of any spreader. Our unique hitch geometry ensures tractor wheels
- even duals - won't hit the corners of the box.
