The Richiger Grain Bagger provides an economical method
of short-term grain storage with no chemicals and no insects

A bagging machine is a low cost system for temporary grain storage that allows you to store grain and sell at the best prices. A grain bagger can store many types of whole grains including: Maize/Corn, Sorghum, Wheat, Barley, Soy Beans, and Sunflower. Speed up harvesting. Bagging grain permits you to store your dry grain wherever you harvest it, with guaranteed quality and minimum cost.

The Richiger R9 bagging machine features a Compression Auger, leveling and height adjustment, rugged screw-action brakes, jack stands, and a natural tunnel shape. Store 180-200 tons of grain with the 60 meter long bags, and up to 250 tons with the larger 75 meter long bags. Both bags are 9 ft diameter to allow for easy grain bagging.

The Grain Bag

The grain bag is sealed airtight and lasts up to 1 or more years in the open, preventing damage from fungus and insects. Bags are UV Protected and have a factory guarantee of 18-24 months.

This airtight environment can eliminate the need for chemicals with an average bag cost of 7¢ cents per bushel of stored grain. These unique Grain Bags allow for storage amounts to vary by simply cutting the bag and resealing it.

Grain Bagging Process

The bagging machine is loaded through its large receiving hopper and grain drops down through the hopper to the compression auger. The Compression Auger forces the grain into the grain bag and as the wall of grain builds it pushes the bagging machine and the tractor forward so the bag can accommodate additional grain. The Compression Auger provides perfect compaction and uniform filling without losses.

The Grain Bagger allows you to program your own marketing agenda, and planning ahead the location of each bag is essential. All kinds of grains, fertilizers and seasonal products can be stored. The advantage of the bagging machine is that grain can be stored in silo bags with slightly higher moisture levels than the average values considered safe for storage in bins. The bagging system provides insecticide-free grain conservation.

Bagging Machine Features and Benefits

Receiving Hopper
Large size hopper is equipped with hinged covers to ensure protection in rainy weather. When in open position, the covers effectively increase reception area of the hopper, facilitating the discharge of grain and preventing spillage.

Compression Auger
Large diameter heavy duty screw is horizontally positioned and fully encased to stave off damage to the grain.

Leveling and Height Adjustment
Ratchets provide both height regulation and horizontal leveling adjustment for optimum performance in varying work conditions

Braking System
Rugged screw-action brakes in each wheel can be individually regulated to attain optimum compaction of grain without resort to the tractors brakes

Rear-End Lights
Mounted on a detachable bumper, rear-end lights permit night-time travel.

Jack Stands
They are used to keep the Bagger aligned horizontally when the tractor is unhitched. Also used when rotating wheels from work position to transport position

Tunnel Shape
Special flattened shape designed for optimal, uniform distribution of stored grain, resulting in a smooth bag with no overstretched trouble areas or wrinkles. To be used with 9 ft. diameter bags, 60 to 75 meters long

Transportation Mode
Bagger is equipped with auxiliary screw jacks for parking and a removable tow bar that allows safer road towing (i.e. minimum width configuration)
